Absolutely 100% correct, but I also think she is being a "nag". I think it's on purpose that she is this way. We love Dexter sooo much we want him to be "happy" and she's making things "difficult".

2024-10-22 11:42:48 +0000 UTCIn what way? She's just finally reacting to the fact that Dexter is a pathological liar. Nothing she does or says in response to his constant lies is unreasonable. It's pretty reasonable to be annoyed and disappointed in your partner if you find out they're hiding a whole apartment from you, and lying all the time. He doesn't listen to her, he zones out when she talks, he lies constantly (only we, the audience, know that he *has* to), he goes missing for hours to do what he does. I'd say she's pretty bearable and reasonable tbh.

Adore their bro-sis dynamic. I just don't see that depth with Rita. Michael & Jennifer are just higher caliber together. (Even after they divorced, they still were so core together.).

I know it's too late for Spooktober but if you haven't seen it she plays the title role in The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Her performance is chilling wether you believe or not. You might want to consider watching it.
