Just wanted to update that my area is fine and no damage. Thanks

dont forget the government cares. if your house falls in the ocean, and u lose everything, they'll give u 750$ and u can pay it back before the end of the year.

Currently watching the live updates on the tornados before Milton has hit, looks scary, hope people are keeping safe

There are 50 states that make up the United States, but we are still one country. What affects one affects us all, so if you are feeling cut off, know we are all coming to help. The State of Michigan has already sent hundreds of Michiganders to the Southeast, including power company personnel, and hundreds more will be coming to you in Florida. There are approx 6700 National Guardsman from 16 states that are already there or will be coming soon, so hang in there.

Cindy

Hope everyone stays safe :(

Our area has never experienced a storm or damage of this magnitude and all of us are shaken up. The way our community and surround communities have come together has been nothing short of amazing. Every other fb post has been individuals, small groups, businesses and churches setting up in parking lots to feed people (residents and linemen) gathering supplies and delivering them, washing laundry for linemen, gyms offering free showers for anyone, local businesses offering their stores for charging phones and cooling off in the ac with no expectation of anyone purchasing things...it has restored my faith in humanity just a little bit.

Those power guys work their butts off. My husband works For the southern company at one of the plants. They are fierce !!! I love seeing the fleet of power trucks heading to hit areas. It always brings a smile to my face seeing how they all help each other out. 💜 i remember during Katrina the interstate was lined with power trucks from the northern states coming to help bring power to us. I live in Alabama and we were out of power for 2 weeks. That’s how big Katrina was. Luckily we haven’t been hit hard like that in a while. It scares me though bc I know our turn is Coming again…..we make it through though , we always do. That’s when you see real humanity, something like that really brings the community together. Prayers for everyone in the path! I hope yall are somewhere safe 💜💜

In Puerto Rico, we had María Hurricane, and remember the desperation when there wasn't any Phone signal of not knowing if my grandmother was OK or my sister, etc. My brother stayed with me. But we were so scared to check his house after, not knowing what state was it going to be, etc. Hopefully everyone stays safe in Florida

After experiencing the Lahaina Fires last year seeing so many people go through these types of tragedies breaks my soul. Everyone I know is still homeless because they all lost their homes and every home I ever lived in besides my current one had burnt to the ground. Experiencing 4 weeks of no power, no work, no running water or access to grocery stores and gas... I don't wish that on my worst enemy... I am praying for everyone who maybe experiencing any type of similar catastrophe. 🙏 Please check on your neighbors and do what you can for each other. Lots of love.

All boarded up here. Getting 2004 flashbacks when we were pumbled for weeks.

Thank you guys. I'm in Orlando, and I'm keeping myself busy with your videos while we await Hurricane Milton's arrival. I do appreciate your prayers and thoughts.

If you end up needing to leave, I'm in South Georgia and can help 🙏 Please be safe and let us know you're okay 🩷

I was in the direct path of Hurricane Helene. We just spent 7 days without power and internet. We live 3 hrs inland from where it made landfall in South Georgia. We're praying so hard for those people in the path of Milton. Our small cozy hometown is crazy right now with evacuees up from Florida. I ran to walmart today for dog food and milk and the parking lot looked like Black Friday with lots of rvs and campers. I also passed several staging areas with tree and power crews waiting on their orders. We still have 1600 meters in our county without power from Helene. We started at 73,000 meters without service. I think its been 13 days. Theyre working so hard here (16 hr days) and they arent getting any relief or a break before heading down. Its all just so sad.

Sadly, it should’ve been California 😂😂
