Plus another one is in the works... Scream 7. But yeah, each works own. I definitely recommend watching 1, 2 and 4 before #6. (3 is generally the least liked.) Just to enjoy the connections more. 2024-10-04 23:13:43 +0000 UTCNot necessarily. There are thru lines from those films, but you can infer most of what happened in their lives. You will still enjoy this one just fine. But I will recommend #4 in particular though. Especially if you plan on watching #6, when R&T get to it.

(My mom has a 2nd fridge in her garage for extra beer and meats.) Rob must've forgotten that in the original Scream, Tatum goes to a fridge in Stu's garage for more beer.

The violence was amazing, it was way more brutal than I thought. Every time I saw Sam’s boyfriend on screen, I just heard the words “oi hughie” in butchers voice I can even remember his characters name

We Americans tend to have our Kitchen fridge Full of food… so when we have parties and house guests we stock up and fill the second fridge in the basement/garage with drinks 🍺 I even think that 70s show represented a bit of this with the extra freezer in the basement 🤓

And even though the quality of the other subsequent movies was never quite as the same as Scream 1, I could watch the franchise happily any time of the year... After Wes Craven's death I was very doubtful about restarting the franchise, but I sincerely loved what they did with 5 and 6. Happy to re-watch them!

2024-10-04 10:58:36 +0000 UTCI have not seen this one yet, so looking forward to it this weekend. I really liked all the prior films so I bought them. I was never a fan of this type of horror genre e.g. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th etc., but death aside, I enjoyed this franchise.

2024-10-04 10:05:45 +0000 UTCThis one succeeds because of all the callbacks & parallels to the original. Personally, I love #4 and feel it's appreciated more now in retrospect. It has the most hardcore ghostface since the original. And for 2011... it was definitely ahead of its time, and very prescient, in its theme/motives. I do love that this one calls out intractable old school fans... while also following the original playbook. Best of both worlds.

It's gotta be my favorite, right there with the first scream... but that's MOSTLY because I'm a huge Billy & Stu stan *coughs* they're my faves.... so 1, 5, 6... absolutely my favorite Screams and Scream 6... there's just stuff yall need to see in there is all i'll say

Of course, I don't like that one thing that happens... but it was done well, and was impactful. I enjoyed the new kids, but for me... the original Trio will always be what makes Scream be Scream. As Sidney said in #4... Don't *f* with the Originals.

Jenna Ortega Is fantastic in Wednesday, and Season 2 is on the way, so I hope you’ll consider adding that to your list of upcoming series. 🤞🏻
