The fact that Dex proposed to Rita AND to the kids warmed my heart so much. I love that he is ready to alter the code to protect Astor. He still think that he can't feel anything but his actions prove otherwise.

2024-09-04 18:03:57 +0000 UTCI actually listened to some of his music and it's really good. Even if I also loved him in Six Feet Under, I agree that he was meant to be Dexter. I can't think about another actor for the role. He plays the duality of the character so damn well.

Now they have announced a brand new season to start filming in 2025, Dexter Resurrected. MCH has done other things, but this has been his bread and butter for sure. Currently he is the lead singer/lyricist in a band called "Princess Goes" and is really loving life. While I think he is a fantastic actor, I think this is what he was meant to do! 2024-09-04 03:28:37 +0000 UTCSo much happens while this show was filming. Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) fell in love during the filming of season 3 and eloped in December of 2008. During the last two weeks of filming season 4, MCH found out he had cancer, Lymphoma, and had chemo during the hiatus and wore a wig during the filming of season 5. MCH and JC seperated during season 5 and divorced at the end of 6 but kept filming and remained great friends.

2024-09-03 23:10:18 +0000 UTCSeason 3 has never been my favorite but I do find myself enjoying it much more watching with you guys. The proposal scene gets me every time! All I want is to see Rita happy, especially after the Ms. Pardon-my-tits debacle last season.

2024-09-03 22:13:09 +0000 UTCObviously every character on this show has their skeletons, but it's kinda disturbing to see Dexter use the words of a crazy stalker/murderer to propose to Rita...then again, I guess the point is that we all put on an act to some degree to those we love in order to protect them.
