FIRST TIME WATCHING: The Wolverine 2013

That would explain it, i think it was, i usually just think of juggernaut as his brother, was the one in the movie also in the commics ? I know juggernaut is supposed to be his step brother, but did he have an actual brother ? Or is it just for the movie ?

Deathhead

Wasn't it the comatose body of Charles' twin brother, P. Xavier? That's my understanding.

The Snyder cuts of the Rebel Moon are just for cash grabs and hype..Because of the whole Snyder cut for Justice League..But Director's cuts and Extended Editions aren't always just an extra cash grab..Sometimes you just have more movie than the studio will allow for runtime purposes or the studio interfered with the preferred cut of the Director..Usually the theatrical version will perhaps flow better, but if you're a fan of a film and want more of it, then I'd say the extended\director's cut versions might be better suited for you.. The LOTR Extended Editions, I think are the best version of this, and while, yes, the theatrical cuts do flow bit better, there is so much context that is missing from certain scenes..Like what happened to Gandalf's staff in ROTK, etc.. They aren't for everyone, and that's ok and in the case of reaction channels, it's up to the reactors to decide and weigh their options on what version of the film they want to watch..I think it's great if people let them know that a film has more than one version and the pros and cons of each cut, because it can be confusing if a film has more than 2 cuts, like Blade Runner for instance.. But to say that ALL extended\director cuts are purely for cash grab..I don't think that's true..But that's my opinion..

Rob: I dont think we will see Wolverine in new Xmen with Fassbender September movies: I think that poster says it all😂 Fasten ur seatbelts Rob and Trin. Next Xmen movie u r about to watch in september is my favourite marvel movie of all time. U r going to love it

So, i will explain what happened with professor x, spoiler alert, in X-men last stand, he used his power to transfer his mind into the body of a commatose pacient, he talked about the posibility at the start of that movie with some students and you can see the coma pacient move his finger at the end of the movie during the credit scene if i remember, as for the fact he looks the same, idk, not explained as far as i know so I would bet on plastic surgery or maybe he can "mind over matter" his DNA to change.

Deathhead

HOW DARE YOU! 🥺😂

William

with your heart in your hands ❤️ 😓🫢

*Rob: "It really helps, always knowing the end will be the same; the outcome." *Me: "Oh my sweet summer child." *sips tea*

In my opinion no other actor is as good as Hugh Jackman at portraying physical rage. Like I said before: Perfect casting.

Ninaofthe90s

And yes, the Yukio here and the Yukio in Deadpool are technically the same comic characters -- different universes though. You'll catch on. ;)

William

Thank you so much! :-)

Flopsi80

you should watch all of the x-men movies before that. The Original trilogy including the last stand. Then x-men Origins Wolverine and First Class. It just makes for a better experience to watch all of them. Even if they are flawed and the time line is all over the place - they're still worth it.

Ninaofthe90s

I have two questions about this one: 1. Can I watch it without knowing X-Men: The Last Stand? 2. Do I have to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine before this?🤔 I have no idea about Marvel.

Flopsi80

Theater versions every time. IMO aren't "directors cut" just cash grabs? Long live Corporate America

June

I know but I'm saying for September as I'm pretty sure there was a gap between Origins and First Class

Ae Jae Meade

They are watching all the X-Men films

Rashad Walker

Please I hope they do, this comment needs to be highlighted lol

Daniel Minerva

Make sure u watch the rogue cut of days of futures past

Rashad Walker

I'm so hoping your picks for next month include Days of Future Past. I won't say anything more than it just continues the X-Men universe. However, I will say just enjoy the movies as they are and don't focus on the timeline cuz it gets confusing. As deadpool says "Stewart or Macavoy, these timelines are confusing"

Ae Jae Meade

I honestly dont think you can even find the original anymore, anothe reactor i watched watched the original cut version of the film and i couldnt find it anywhere at all.

RuinFox

I’m so glad you guys went for the extended edition. Up next is Days of Future Past. That one also has an extended version worth checking out. In Avengers: Endgame, Clint survived Thanos’ snap and was in Japan fighting Akihiko. The latter was portrayed by Hiroyuki Sanada who also portrayed Shingen in this film. This movie was his first Marvel role. Mr. Sanada’s latest work is on the Hulu FX show Shōgun. It was originally meant to be a limited series, but now it renewed for seasons two and three. Mr. Sanada doesn’t just have a role in the show. He also takes part in producing, and he makes sure that Japan is depicted in the best and most respectful way possible. You know you’re a part of the movie when you dodge out of the way of incoming trains and arches even though you’re watching from a screen. Old Man Yashida was a combo of two comic book villains known as Silver Samurai and Ogun – both of whom are known as direct archrivals for Wolverine.

I have to say it: Hugh Jackman is so indescribably hot. He just always gives 100% no matter what he does. Whetherhe's performing on stage, singing, dancing, in Musicals like Les Mis or Greatest Showman. (I really hope for more reactions to musicals, especially Les Miserables for more HJ awesomeness. He really IS the Greatest Showman. Brilliant performances like in Prisoners, Prestige or The Fountain....Or when he's doing this. The way he commits to getting in shape every single time when he plays Wolverine - don't get me wrong - that man is always in shape. But what he does for this role is crazy. He looks insane, his physique in this movie is probably the best ever. He's just perfect in this role. It's one of the best casting choices ever made. Crazy how multi talented and how charming he is. What a beautiful man. 😵😍 Okay, enough thirsting - I have to calm down now. 😂😂 It just needed to be said
