They sanitised Mercury's life because many of the extremes would have required an 18 rating... Queen still have control of the narrative and you see that in the BR that was made; May and Taylor come across as sensitive and understanding, basically flawless while Deacon is difficult. Rocket Man is a much rawer portrayal of Elton John, even though EJ is alive he spared himself no blushes

Now, it seems word of mouth is spreading to other reactors as well. I'm looking forward to it. Alexandre Dumas' literary works are tremendous fodder for movie adaptations.
