I’m months late but I just became a patreon and I’m finally almost caught up lol. Yall must be finished with the series by now so I hope it’s given you time to reflect. I want to point out that yall are being kinda unfair to Octavia. Abby brought the idea of cannibalism up then made her make it illegal to not be one. She also told her that Kane had to be broken first. She said all this while making her feel like this is her only option and applied a lot of pressure to her. The situation was DIRE too. So she bore that weight and Abby threw it at her, became an addict & left her to deal with it. Publicly letting Octavia take ALL the blame. Indra her teacher also did not help. Gaia also taught her the commander teachings of no love that Lexa had but she didn’t have the help of the flame to also guide her. Gaia also kinda resented Octavia the whole time bc she’s a religious fanatic & could never accept a red blooded commander. Kane is a hypocrite who sold out his people for people who are WORSE. He knew Wonkru would get wiped out yet he sold them out anyways but he’s still mad at Octavia for the cannibalism AND he forgives Abby???? He’s spiteful & a hypocrite for that. And not to mention Bellamy who expected his sister to forgive him 2 business days after he inadvertently got the love of her life killed, killed 300 warriors sent to protect them & betrayed all his friends….and then he comes down him AND Clarke start a war by antagonizing prisonkru (Clarke killed their men, Bellamy & the ill conceived hostage plan) and when Diyoza’s people attack her, kill one of their people and banish them to the bunker & wasteland with the looming threat of being bombed, why wouldn’t Octavia go to war for the last survivable place on earth? They would’ve never made it in the bunker. Monty’s algae farm was a pipe dream that would’ve taken too long to make viable. They had barely any rations left or medical supplies. They would’ve died eventually or had to resort to cannibalism AGAIN. And let’s not forget that prisonkru had a civil war brewing and McCreary would’ve gotten into power eventually and bombed them then. And if they surrendered initially, they would’ve been treated like TRASH! Look how they treated the defectors. There would’ve been a rebellion if they went that reoute. Esp if they took the flame from Gaia(they took all personals from defectors) she would’ve been the first to die bc she would’ve fought them. Prisonkru was never reliable enough to surrender to and Bellamy didn’t even think about that. Then Madi shows up just to say EXACTLY what Octavia was saying but they follow her bc she has an AI in her head and won the genetic lottery?? And mind you the whole time this is all going down, Murphy and Raven either being held captive, being tortured or hunted down. Why would they surrender to people who are doing that to their friends??? And it was everyone else that broke Wonkru. Not Octavia. They literally were plotting against her EVERY step of the way. Her own brother POISONED HER and tried to USURP HER. For a leader that that was always saying that OCTAVIA IS RIGHT. Madi was on her side BEFORE AND after the flame. Also just pointing out that the use of the worm eggs was the same tactic used by LEXA when she sent Murphy back with that virus in s1. It’s just grounder tactics and they had no reason to believe that they would destroy the valley. Cooper was a more learned agricultural engineer than Monty was.

2024-07-17 22:00:49 +0000 UTCReasonable or not -- anyone with kids understands the lengths a parent would go to in order to protect their children. Reminded me of real world parents trying to deprogram their kid from a cult. In that sense, Clarke at least had better reasons for her actions than Octavia did for hers. Clarke also recognized her lapses quicker, once Madi played the Lexa cards, letting her step slightly back from her fears.

2024-03-27 11:02:15 +0000 UTCLexa still saving the day. I always appreciate the seasonal Lexa shout-outs so far. Legend. Madi comes across so chill right now because of the flame in her head. She has all the advice of the past commanders. I think we can assume most past commanders were very controlled and tactical. And no worries about Madi seeing private memories of Lexa & Clarke. Madi clearly says: 'she's showing me this because...'. The past commanders share what's needed, not all their private moments. But she probably automatically sees all of their ascenscions & deaths.

2024-03-26 21:16:48 +0000 UTCI love Murphy he’s probably the best comic relief character in a show because he also has depth to his character not just dumb humor. The finale is going to be crazy this show has the best finales. I need to see Clarke go on a killing spree

In season 1 i didnt like him much at least from the start then in season 2 i started to like him and in season 3 i liked him still even through his dark days with Pike. But we really saw the real Bellamy in season 4 and mainly 5. I rewatched this show at least 5 times and i just love Bellamy so much in season 5 and seasons after. I honestly felt like he needed more attention and they delivered. At least for me but he felt like main lead of season 5. Really liked the performance and overall acting in this season by Bob Morley!! He made it look so real. U may disagree but Bellamy in season 5 over Clarke any day of the week. Clarke is just ridiculious sometimes :D
