They definitely needed some comedic relief, as the tone of the movie was way darker than the last 2

2024-01-24 20:57:44 +0000 UTCThose three infected soldiers in the snow were all shot in the heart (or they thought), so they didn't just bury them. Apparently the guy that was alive, they missed the heart? Or he just took longer to die, but Maurice said that he would die from his wounds.

2024-01-20 08:12:12 +0000 UTCThere are so many "easter eggs" in these movies back to the original Planet of the Apes films. Cornelius was the name of the male ape scientist played by Roddy McDowell. Zira, the female ape doctor, called the Charlton Heston character "Bright Eyes" (which is what this series called the changes the drug made to the apes' eyes. Nova was the female human that was with Charlton Heston - she was unable to speak. All the humans weren't able to speak. The crosses in the forest by the border facility were shaped the same as ones used in the original series to mark the border to no-man's land. I'm sure there are more, but these are ones I noticed while watching War's reaction.
