We understand the problems that people are pointing out BUT I would like to ask a question and you can all tell me if this would be better. We would love to stick to the like method but to limit the amount of comments we would like to try 1 suggestion per person, per movie and also genre based. Less scrolling and more liking? Is this a fair balance? (this is going by some of the feedback we have read so far). 🥰

Just a random thought. If you break down the selections to small enough sub-genres, you could do four different polls, instead of just one long list that has to be split up. You would have more diversity for the movies in that month and wouldn’t end up with most films being blockbusters, action, or thrillers. Then, hopefully, people would have at least one movie for the month that they are super excited about because more diverse or smaller films could more fairly compete.

2023-10-28 07:09:35 +0000 UTCYes, but genres should be narrow too. Don't just day sci-fi, but sci-fi horror, sci-fi comedy, or something like, spy-thriller serious, or horror-scarry, horror-campy. Too broad of a genre can open up things that don't fit the theme. Just a thought.
