2023-10-24 02:43:26 +0000 UTCLexa the woman / warrior wanted to fight by Clarke's side. Lexa the Commander of 12 Tribes, made a deal in what she believes is in the best interest of her people. The people who've been vocally against her alliance with Clarke, all along. It sucks for it to go down that way, but it's understandable. Leadership is not an easy path. I don't think it's insurmountable. (I mean, bad things happened in S1 because Bellamy acted selfishly. And no one holds that against him now. Kane was gonna float Abby, and had her shock-lashed earlier this season... and they're okay.) I like that post-apocalyptic survival isn't so black & white.

2023-10-24 01:36:08 +0000 UTCOne thing I don't understand, we hear all season Lexa must be strong or her people would even kill her. And then she surrenders to the Mount Weather in exchange for releasing the grounders. I don't see it as a strong move.

2023-10-24 01:33:57 +0000 UTCSo Lexa didn't make the decision because Clarke "hurt her feelings" or anything, she explained it. "I made this decision with my head, not my heart". She's the commander so her loyalty is to HER people first, and she made the decision with her head to get her people out instead of facing mass casualty. I can't wait for the next episode! Still so excited for Mondays and Wednesdays!

2023-10-24 01:25:05 +0000 UTCDante Wallace is certainly better than his son, but he's still not a swell guy. For decades, he's authorized the draining of 1000s of Grounders' blood - to the last drop. He probably finds it distasteful, but he doesn't really see them as humans... so he uses them to keep his own people going. And as reapers. These are not honorable actions. But - as is an overarching theme - for survival, everyone does whatever they have to *for their own* people.
