FIRST TIME WATCHING What If... Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?

Comments

There was also a captain Britain that was not part of the super soldier story. His origins come from a suit of medieval armour.

ThreeFive (Henry)

Lots of characters are reprised from the actors unfortunately they couldn't get RDJ chris evans or scarlet johanson amoung others

Rigs216

That's also why I like it so much because it has been like that, shows how far we've come. Also I just love the flair and music of the show and her being super badass with all the recurring characters from the first avenger movie ^^

Eisbär

To that point, Agent Carter showed the huge sexism Carter had to endure. The movies left it to the sideline but they made it the central point to her tv show.

Anna

Ah this really makes me wish they would watch "Agent Carter" at some point :)

Eisbär

I do not enjoy animation films or series at all , ive had no interest in watching any of these what Ifs up untill now but if Rob and trin are doing it I'll do it too I guess 🙄 lol I'm easily led

Shelley

New series!

James

Also: Dominic Cooper reprised his role as younger Howard Stark, Toby Jones reprised as Zola, Stanley Tucci reprised as Erskine, Neal McDonough reprised as Dum Dum Dugan. And Bradley Whitford returned to voice Flynn. Who's sexist behavior isn't new... if you watched the Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter. (Not the series, the one-shot. Though the series is great. I'm always surprised at how many don't get James D'Arcy's cameo in End Game... because they didn't watch Agent Carter.)

Octavia

The Watcher is different from He Who Remains from Loki, but good thought process! The Watcher is voiced by Jeffrey Wright, his voice is incredible lol you might remember him as Gordon from Robert Pattinson's Batman. And for these What If episodes, quite a lot of the original actors came back to voice their characters here. Hayley Atwell returned for Peggy, Sebastian Stan returned for Bucky, Jeremy Renner for Hawkeye and Samuel L Jackson for Fury. Will definitely let you know about the other episodes.

sierra's reaction corner

I was honestly impressed and delighted at how many main cast members did the voice work for these. It just ups the believability.

Octavia

There apparently is a British character in the comics called Union Jack who was an ally to Cap. And I totally want Jeffrey Wright (the Watcher) to read me bedtime stories every night - such a great voice...

Michael Celia

The Watcher is voiced by Jeffrey Wright, you might remember him as Gordon in The Batman, or Beetee in Hunger Games.

roncelune

Hugo Weaving is alive and well lol Ross Marquand only replaced him (in Infitity War, Endgame and What If...?)

SamT

Hayley Atwell did return to voice Peggy. Also, Ross Marquand, Aaron from the Walking Dead, voiced Red Skull in place of Hugo Weaving whom had already passed.

GoodDocGonzo

The watcher wasn't in Loki, there was a group of them in gaurdians of the galaxy vol 2 speaking to Stan Lee.

ThreeFive (Henry)

You confused "The Watcher" with "He who remains". Not the same dude. A lot of the voice acting IS the original cast, you saw their names at the beginning of this episode.

PsYcHoKiLLa

Haven't watched it yet! Please tell me we're getting 2 a day lol...
