The 100: S2E13 Resurrection - First time watching!

Comments

You guys had great post-reaction comments. Glad you recognize all of the ‘layers’. The show has a lot of grey areas and determining who’s right depends on the perspective. You will constantly have this on your mind, throughout the running of the show. And fortunately, or unfortunately, your emotions will be yanked at during each incredible, terrible, necessary ’event’. And I can’t wait for your reactions. :)

Yes! Funny enough, I originally wrote that exact thing at the end of my post. About Jaha = Locke. But took it out because I don't mean it as a compliment. Also, Raven is like Sayid in that she can fix anything. (And in another way.)

And Jaha reminds me of Locke (Man of Faith) Murphy - Sawyer

In a lot of ways, Clarke reminds me of a more hardcore Jack Shephard (Lost). We can already see how she's driven to save everyone and fix everything. A leader they look to. Taking the burden on herself, often reacting from emotion. And not everyone will always appreciate or agree. But, so far, Clarke gets things done. And she hasn't hesitated to get her hands dirty. Love the way Clarke swiftly claimed Lincoln, while she took down the sniper by shooting thru Lincoln.

As was said above... Lexa was 100% out there to take down the sniper. Her point to Clarke was... Do what needs doing, to succeed, to achieve, but be strategic. Don't let over-running emotions cloud you. Kill the sniper because it needs to be done... not just for emotionally driven revenge. That way isn't always satisfying beyond the moment... as her inner turmoil will still be there. But Clarke is Clarke... she's reacts strongly, but she's also capable of pushing thru to deal with the realities. Lexa made a good point, but Lexa is also a naturally adept leader. Clarke is still finding her ground. The best way probably lies somewhere in the middle.

Maya is definitely the reason our kids have a chance of getting out! Great episode! 💚

War is coming!

I've seen the Travelers twice already... and i do believe that rob and trin will absolutely love it...

Maya's dad is played by Ian Tracey, who's in Travelers (a series I highly recommend if you haven't seen it!)

So, she never said she did not want to take out the sniper. The whole point was that Clarke is fueled by anger and revenge and thinks it will somehow help to kill them all, Lexa is just trying to make her understand that anger isn't going to achieve anything. Lexa would absolutely kill the sniper, but it's out necessity, it's for the war, and to protect her people, it's not that Clarke doesn't agree, but she's fueled by emotion first, and Lexa has always said you can't lead or make decisions based on emotion. But it's not like she didn't want to take him out, she knew that's what they were going to do.
