Love that you guys look at things from all sides. Clarke and Lexa often get fandom flack for their choice here. But with limited time and no-win options, I feel like they made the best call possible. The priority needed to be: protect Bellamy's stealthy inside man capabilities. If they tip their hand by evacuting or warning... Mt Weather would be suspicious. How did they know what was coming? And more than likely, Cage would just send the missile to their next location anyway. Everything rests on Bellamy shutting down the acid fog. If Mt. Weather suspects an inside man, then they are all screwed. It wasn't a guiltless choice, but it was the correct priority in my view. What mattered most was preserving Bellamy's mission and their continued leadership. Do you sacrifice some pieces to win the game? An unenviable burden of leadership. But I get why those in the line of fire would take it more personally.
