Feeling the Gravity of the Situation

Waking up slowly, the first thing I notice is that I don’t hear my alarm…in fact the only thing I can hear is the subtle sounds of my own body. The second thing I notice is my arms and legs feel…pinned and stretched into a kind of exaggerated spread-eagled position. Sure sometimes I sprawl out on my bed, after all what’s the use of having a big bed if you don’t sprawl? Right? But this feels…beyond that, it’s not uncomfortable…per se, but it is strange. Then I realize something...
