2023-09-20 06:55:37 +0000 UTCTo piggyback off your comments about British actors like Tom Hardy playing American characters, I've always felt that it was in a British actor's best interest to master an American accent so they don't get pigeon-holed into costume drama and villain roles...unless they're Sean Connery or Liam Neeson of course. That's not a necessity with American actors, though some apparently can do convincing British accents.
