2023-08-29 18:58:12 +0000 UTCone of the main reasons I originally started watching this show I recognized in the first episode they were going to mount weather, and in college I did a project on government bunkers, and Mount weather was designed to safe guard all of congress and what not, which I find very interesting that they used a real place in a show not a fictional place to match they're agenda. (plus isnt it funny to think that a bunker was designed to hold all of America's politicians and leaders, I cant imagine that would last civilly for to long)

Mount Weather is a real-life facility in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia about 50 miles west of Washington, DC that's designed to be a relocation site in case of disaster in order to maintain continuity of government. So it makes sense there'd be people there (and explains why the Lincoln Memorial ruins are in the general area).

I know theyβre adults seeing unruly kids, but did they ever stop to think that they donβt know everything thatβs going on and to seek advice from them? Nah they just take over like they know everything.

2023-08-29 03:14:15 +0000 UTCIβm always one to distrust places/governments that take you in free of charge, give you everything that seems to good it be true, but wonβt give you answers or let you leave without making you jump through a ton of hoops. But maybe Iβve read way too many dystopian novels lol I always have my walls up with these sort of plots.

She ought to be able to make that choice since she was taken against her will. Basically making her a prisoner in a gilded cage.

In real life, the kids would have to fall in line. But luckily this is post-apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy. So we ride or die with Clarke Griffin.
