First Time Watching WandaVision Episode 2 Reaction!

Comments

Yes, streets go past the thousands in the US, I live in a house past the 8000s, and I used to work in 12 and 18000s, but the numbers can START anywhere, there is t actuallY that many homes on that street

James T Williams

They are probably in separate beds because that's what was shown in shows like I Love Lucy.

Anika

Does anyone know what time episodes 3 & 4 will be out?

Nadine 🇨🇭

WandaVision is like LOST Season 6. It doesn’t make sense until it makes sense.

Paul Smith

When this show came out, every marvel fan was nerding out trying to figure out what was going on. People were making breakdowns of the episodes and pointing out every little easter egg they could find in order to try to figure out the big picture. It was sooo fun to be a part of during the shows initial run and it seemed you two are both trying to figure everything out too and are also confused by what’s going on. It’s an extremely fun watch and will be awesome once you realize what’s in store.

damian

dont worry about the confusion, its normal. once you get further in to it, itll all become clear!

Joseph Bayley

SlipS_Tiger

Lizzie Olsen's pretty?she is godly beautiful and gorgeous..she also did great in this show..she also won an award for her performance here..she and Kathryn Hahn (Agnes)..all the confusion is normal for the 1st 3 episodes..you'll get it soon..

You Know Another Good Show To Get Into Is Creepshow By Walking Dead Greg Nicotero

Anthony Tucceri

Love the in-show commercials ---- and their slightly unnerving tones.

Octavia

This is honestly the best thing since end game no doubt i abs love this series

Hate Us Cuz They Aint Us

This show is truly unique in a good way.

Jeff1990

Used to be, lol

The idea of the address numbers in the thousands here in the US is for cities, especially, with a lot of streets, they can go into the hundreds, like 127th street and so on. Street #1 here in Chicago starts downtown and the numbers go up the farther you get away from there and they go N, S, E, & W. So, you can live at the corner of 53rd W and 127th S, for instance, since the streets run in a grid shape, it's easier to count that way and find where something is. So, although I said above "53rd" street, it is counted as 5300 because the last two digits are the actual number of the building on that block, like 5310 is the 10th building from the corner of 53rd st. Some cities, especially older ones and more rural ones are less set up in grid pattern and can be more curvy 'cause their roads were based more on old paths (cow paths, walking paths, etc). ANYway, the further away you are from the center of the city (the more out in the suburbs), the higher the house #s will be.

"Wanda? Who's doing this to you Wanda?" Chills every time. My favorite MCU TV series. Can't wait to see you guys watch this show week by week!

Julia Ashley

17825 was my address number for a decade lol. We get high numbers

If you watch tv shows of the time, you'll notice in the early seasons, twin bed were used for the couples, and later they relaxed it, so that couples were shown to share a double-sized bed. And Mary Tyler Moore as Laura, from The Dick Van Dyke show was the first to wear pants on a TV series that supposed to represent wholesome family life. I think it was because it showed the curve of her a$$. lol She got a lot of flak for that. I wasn't born in this era of tv (I'm not that old - lol), but I loved to watch the reruns. Had a huge crush on Dick Van Dyke, from Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang. Yah, don't worry about not understanding right now. You will.

angie808

Waiting for these episodes every week is gonna be so hard, but this is so exciting and so fun! The confusion of what's going on in WandaVision is half the fun! You can definitely tell the cast and producers were having fun with this concept. They've gone through the 50s and 60s with these 1st two episodes.

Hey Rob and trim love your mcu reactions. But will say the mcu shows don't run that long. Some eps 20 mins some 40. I would say you could finish most shows (not movies) in 2 or 3 weeks. Episode aren't long so it's a big spread out if you get me.

Kenneth Walsh

Many people, especially young people, get so frustrated with the retro black/white and freak out trying to place it in their Marvel universe minds, and forget to enjoy the show. This is fun!

verdantdruid

Episodes 7/8/9 have after credit scenes. 9 has two.

J Scott Page

Back in this time period, TV shows couldn't show couple sharing a bed. It was considered too suggestive. We used to be unbelievably prudish.

Reverend Jim Jones

Yes catching the bus in America and seeing the house numbers is very eye-opening we caught the bus from LAX to Venice Beach

Kim Magee

Episodes 7, 8, and 9 have post-credit scenes. Episode 9 has two in fact.

wxtracker235

This is so cool. I'm so looking forward to the next ones! And just a reminder: Strucker was the guy that experimented on Wanda and her brother Pietro and "gave them" their superpowers. His name was used during the ad for the watch.

Michelle Schaefer

Episode 1 was The Dick Van Dyke Show. The set was nicely done. That's Rob and Laura's house and clothes exactly.

Aria Nadii

Bewitched for EP02

Anthony Almandeto

Baron Strucker was the Hydra agent who did the experiments with the Mind Stone on Wanda and Pietro, he appeared in the post-credits of Winter Soldier and at the beginning of Age of Ultron. That's the reference made in the watch commercial.

WalkingTaako

perfectly normal for house numbers to be in the thousands in the us. mine is in the 27,000's

Kayla

House numbers in the US can definitely go into the thousands. I don’t really know how the zoning and stuff works but yes it’s extremely common to have numbers that high in residential areas like that

James

It’s common for addresses in the US to be in the thousands haha.

Brittany McGee

great reactions! some good background knowledge - each episode is based of a different decades sitcom, ep 1 was i love lucy, this one was bewitched - it’ll be fun to see if you can guess the influences of each episode! ep 1 was actually filmed in front of a live studio audience, and all the effects were practical!!! the reason they were in separate beds at the start was because that was the norm for television in the 60s, but that changed towards the end of the decade (hence them being merged together and the show going in colour). there are post credit scenes, in episodes 7, 8 and there are two in episode 9. enjoy the show - you’re in for a wild ride!!

C

You two are in for one heck of a ride here, so strap in. 😉
