I loved the first part of this season. I think I liked all season. I can't remember when I got tired of it for good but I think it was season 5. I loved the addition of John Dorie and a few other new ones.

I watched a couple who had been told constantly from season 1 on that 8 was awful. It stayed with them and the reactions were influenced by it. The reactions were so awful to watch because they were tuned out pretty quick even on some of the great episodes.

The only characters I really liked in fear the walking dead were Madison, Strand, and Daniel. I liked Nick at first but he got on my nerves when he started listening to the crazy woman in season 2. I actually liked the new people more than most of the old characters. I am enjoying your reactions to season 3 and am now watching with you guys since I haven't seen the rest of season 3. I think this show is more enjoyable for me this time around. I'm skipping ahead to watch this one because of Morgan and John Dory. Also when I watched this when it aired, I realized Al was Shannon about halfway through the episode.

2023-05-16 05:10:08 +0000 UTCI gotta say that I had stopped watching FTWD after the first few episodes of Season 3. But, of course, continued to watch TWD. We were spoiled that Morgan was leaving the main show, and going to Fear. I was livid, at first, because I didn't want Morgan to leave. And I didn't want him to go to the other show that I didn't watch anymore. But, I loved Morgan so much that I had to follow his journey. So, I picked up watching Fear again, and loved season 3, and absolutely adored the way season 4 started; how they introduced John, and brought back the main cast at the end of the episode. All I'll say is that things go down in Season 4 that will rattle your brain. lol

2023-05-16 03:02:11 +0000 UTCFor me, season 4 is the beginning of the end for FTWD. The first 8 episodes of season 4 are still good quality. I don't expect Rob/Trin to have many dislikes (outside of the obvious two things). The second half is where things collapse.

I was all the way in but this is when the show is going have highs and super lows. I don’t think they understand it’s not the episode that’s bad lol The writing becomes so bad it’s almost unwatchable at times later on. Just seeing that camera really gave me ptsd. I’m actually glad season 8 of FTWD premiered because I’m just ready for it to be over now

I grew up on the zombie sub genre, consumed every movie, book, comic series I could and I always felt it rarely took true risks. That's why I love TWD, because despite its flaws it always tried to do more with its storytelling.

It’s crazy that we get to see Morgan in fear, in my opinion Morgan was the unsung hero of the main show and getting to see him take more of a main lead is awesome for me. Even the new characters they introduced seem badass, we literally have a cowboy Morgan now. There was a time skip from season 3 to this season because the dam explosion happened back in what would be season 1 of the main show. This episode is now around 2 years into the apocalypse since it’s directly after the war with the saviors. The time skips can kinda throw people off but it’s not bad if they can pull it off properly
