He is the villain, Tommy, but it is also clear that the Governor is a much worse person inside. Negan isn't a good person by any means, but he at least has a heart and some compassion.

He was also about to smash Carls head in. It's quite obvious that he's the villain at this point.

Heath went missing in Tara's Oceanside episode. This is not a spoiler, this happened on screen. She couldn't find him and went back to Alexandria alone.

Negan seems to have a heart and is human. He masquerades as a villain but deep down could be a good man. The governor acts the part of a good man but is actually a sociopath. Idk just my opinion tho

They don't want to know anything they've already put out a plea on patreon for no information about characters and I've spoken to their mods on discord who have already said that Rob and Trin are avoiding the patreon comments with anything to do with heath comments because they don't want to know. I know it was a bit different because you didn't have to wait a whole 8 years but either way with all the characters they introduce and all the shows and movies you watch it is still impressive nonetheless.

Also going by the timeline of the walking dead this season is only around 2 years into the apocalypse it’s surprisingly not been that long since the beginning it really does feel like 8 years at this point
