Fear The Walking Dead: S2E14 Wrath - First time watching!

I always thought Nick was the one that died cuz I saw the short clip of this episode but I guess it was Chris all the long and I'm also glad he's gone what a terrible character. Yeah Travis snap still good to this day

Mackendie

I felt so bad for the nurse to die over a bitten off finger when we now know they could have just chopped her hand or arm off.

Basically both Alejandro and the nurse could have been saved if only they knew that amputate a finger or an arm right away can save your life.

Kamanda Hickey

Probably. I mean, it makes sense if she was thinking of Travis's mindset, but I know that she would need to do it too, if it was her kids. IDK...it always seemed weird to me. πŸ™‚

Because Madison knows what it does to you as person.. was always my guess. She didn't want him to have to carry the same.

Notice Alejandro says to Lucy "The love YOU feel is real." It says so much. I agree with you guys. Maddie should have told Travis, and not try to sneak them away., to let them go. And I still don't understand why she was hell-bent on stopping Travis from killing them. Why did she care? If I had the strength to do it, I would do it too. I never liked Chris. I never wanted him to die, but he made his bed, and had to "sleep" in it. I feel for Travis tho, and understand him not wanting to give up on his son. I have two grown boys, and I still worry about them. It never ends. But my sons would never, ever talk to me the way that Chris did to Travis. lol But Travis was in a precarious situation with those guys, so he had to be careful with the way he handled Chris with them around. Kids??? What're gonna do? 🀣🀣

Honestly Travis should have known the story was a lie when he first heard it... they fucking claimed to have buried chris. That is the biggest load of shit. They wouldn't even bury their childhood best friend. Fucking dumb asses.

To this day, the ending scene of this episode remains one of if not THE most emotionally and physically intense moments of the entire franchise for me (Besides S7E1 and another two episodes that you guys haven't seen yet of the main walking dead series) Even when I had seen the season before and watched the scene itself several times over, when my friend and I got to it my heartrate was through the roof. It's a greatly put together sequence with Travis not missing a trick and giving up his old self and embracing the new world, without his son he has nothing to lose and puts it all into killing Brandon and Derek. With the behind the scenes materials on the Blu ray I learned the fight scene itself wasn't actually choreographed fully, aside from them knowing a chair would be broken and Derek being hit into that ice cream box, they improvised the rest and just let the actors let loose while they were wearing protective pads on their arms and backs. The sound design deserves a special mention as well because every punch has this thunderous impact to it that shakes you to your core. There's a fantastic photo of the three actors together on set after filming the episode on the blu ray as well.

I believe the guys were in the bed of the truck which would explain their lesser injuries, they were tossed out on impact but Chris was getting jossled around in the cab of the truck when it started rolling resulting in a more severe injury. I understand Travis' guilt but Chris chose to go while Travis' begged him not too. I had hoped for redemption for Chris but ultimately felt heartbreak for Travis.

JayLynn

I wasn't the slightest bit upset when this aired. I couldn't stand Chris. He executed that man, then he was executed. I felt bad for Travis though. He really tried to save Chris who ended up dead anyway. Travis killing the guys was gruesome but I couldn't blame him for his actions. He really did snap.

Piper

I was really pissed that they went this route with Chris but I hold out hope they could bring him back some day on the ruse that what we saw was just a fabricated story by the guys that left him but yeah Travis became my fave in fear here with his β€œWrath” at the end of this episode!

Jack's World

Travis going ballistic is probably the best thing I’ve seen today he’s a tank when he’s pissed off. You could see the way he was beating on them he wanted them to suffer. Also you’re correct that was the US/Mexico border. I’m hyped for the finale next week season 3 is really good

James

I agree with your theory that Chris thought he was invincible. I think he thought that he has been through it all, and knows the answers to everything much like many young people around his age. He liked the guys because they were on the same wavelength but in the end he even knew they were going to kill him after he busted his leg hence why he tried to crawl away, and probably in that moment wished he had stayed with his dad. Whilst I didn’t like him, he was a very interesting character to watch and the negative effect the world around him had on him. Great reaction guys πŸ‘πŸΌ
