2023-02-26 19:03:55 +0000 UTCThe "James" Capt Hornigold ( in the Hornigold Gates scene) is referring to is James the son of James VII of Scotland(or James II of England). The writers assume that scene develops that minor character without going into detail because they assume you know that and why that may be important to that character's back story. BUT it is not really meaningful other than motivation and is never really mentioned again going forward so not a spoiler, just a character building moment for a minor character that they spent a good scene on that is normally missed
