2022-09-27 21:17:23 +0000 UTCWhat I like about the Jack that came back to the island... is that he's not the new Locke. Locke's downfall was blind faith. John knew there was a purpose with the island, but he latched onto anything that fed his beliefs. I mean, it's why Smokey was able to be conning him from way, way back. Jack, on the other hand, comes back renewed... his newfound sense of faith tempered with his examining mind. He's still Jack... just more balanced... in a trust, but verify way. (Something Locke should've lived by.)
