I know Norma is often manipulative (and it's only episode 3)... seemingly second nature... but I felt like she was genuinely asking Norman why he kept the belt. That she just couldn't fathom why he'd risk them for a reminder of her traumatic assault. It just didn't make sense to her. But also using her ways to coax an answer that she wants to make sense. And... worst hiding job ever, Norman. Gonna need better skills in a town seemingly filled with more dangerous psychos.
