The Walking Dead: S2E13 Beside The Dying Fire - First time watching!

Comments

On my R&T Walking Dead rewatch😂its 2 years old but i cant help typing this comment. Watching this now rly made me angry even more after ur reaction about Lori in the ending scenes. It didnt make sense what so ever. I would love to know what was her thinking proccess in that scene when Rick told her about killing Shane. Everything was justified what Rick said so i dont get the reaction. Firstly she was the main problem maker😂 Point 1: I think it was just month or 2 months since it all started and she already having sex with Rick's best friend. Not that it is bad enough they end up having a baby together😂 Point 2: It was her all along. She staged Rick and Shane against each other. She was messing with Shane's head all the time. In the beginning of S2 she didnt want him to be a "part of her family".... then after Carl got shot she started to care abt him.... then she, again, didnt want him and then after all of that she again begged him to stay and telling him how she feels sorry and giving him credit Point 3: I kinda get from her reaction that the problem she had was the actual fact that Carl killed "Walker Shane".... which is monumentally stupid getting angry at someone for that reason just seconds after that person had to kill his best friend😂 Point 4: She was terrible mother and wife, kinda full package. Carl always got away somewhere wandering around, chasing walkers or something like she wasnt really in his life. If something it was her problem Carl finnished Shane because she couldnt keep him on farm!? Point 5: I hate Lori😂😂!!!!!What a badly written character. I love the drama, season 2 is by far the best WD season ever created including all spinofs, but the way she is flip-floping with her choices is pathetic and kinda ruined it in the end. It almost felt like directors were like okay we ended one drama with Shane and we dont know where r we going so lets start another drama but it will be forced and kinda won't make sense that much. and by god, in terms of season 3 this scene didnt even make more sense but for anyone watching this for the 1st time u will get it. Its frustrating

yes it was the fact that rick said that carl was the one that had to put shane down

I'm sure this has all been said, but I'm late lol. The Lori reaction is up for interpretation. The majority that I've heard is that she only reacted that way when he said Carl put him down. BUT...I noticed that you picked up on her reaction way before Rick mentioned that. I've always felt that Lori had conflicting feelings about the situation. She developed feelings for Shane, but when Rick returned she felt obligated to him. That doesn't make the feelings go away. She loved both of them. She tried to convince herself that she didn't love Shane, but (imo) it hit her when Rick said that he killed Shane. Dont forget that their marriage had issues before Rick got shot. I never hated Lori like some did, but I don't think she handled this situation well. To me it seemed like she had just tried to bury her feelings and not deal with them. This was all of that coming to the surface.
