2022-02-24 20:05:27 +0000 UTC“Amendable for coercion” is really the main takeaway of this episode. The true definition of Locke, unfortunately. You even mention this was Locke in his simplicity. I believe you hit the nail on the head. This is definitely one of my least favorite episode, if not the worst one. The episodes don’t continue to be “hit or miss” for long, things are about to pickup!

2022-02-22 22:26:20 +0000 UTCYeh, watching it again has made me realise this too. It was quite the drawn out ''catch up'' episode. What do you think the point of it was? Perhaps they didn't want to squeeze the more important scenes with Desmond and Hurley in amongst the scenes with Jack and co. Similarly Locke and Eko's whereabouts presumably needed more of a reveal than a quick scene - So they came up with an episode focused on the beach characters to do this? I'm not sure.

The two seemingly new 815 survivors actually joined the main cast this season, alongside Juliet, Ben and Desmond. So I guess that explains why they used actual actors, instead of extras aaha. Somewhat, shoehorned in... but the more the merrier? aha!

2022-02-22 19:19:28 +0000 UTCThe problem with this episode is that it doesn't move anything forward. It's just here to tell us the obvious - hey, the guys from the hatch that blew up are alive. But I do like the "I'm not a farmer, I'm a hunter" Locke moment.

2022-02-22 14:59:04 +0000 UTCI enjoy this episode, it brings Charlie and Locke back together which I like. On a first watch it may seem a bit slow or as Rob says "a stepping stone" but it's relevance will become more apparent later on.

Locke tripping balls (and being a weed-farmer in a commune lol), and him waking up in the middle of the jungle after the hatch detonation - when he should have been totally crushed along with Desmond, Eko and maybe Charlie! And I loved Charlie this episode. Excited for what’s to come, there’s a lot of fantastic episodes this season!
