Hey all,

Through this message, I want to announce some changes I'm going to implement in the upcoming month.

I will first try to explain why I'm going to do this.

Last year when I started this adventure with Patreon, I had absolutely no idea what impact it would have in terms of time. I just created some tiers and added some benefits, and hoped for the best.

Writing has become a passion to me in these last few years. The only regret I can have is that I should have started writing (and reading) waaaaay earlier than this.

Nevertheless, writing consumes time, a LOT of time. And time (in particular free-time) is something that has become quite scarce and valuable now since last year with a busy job and a family to take care of. Not to mention all of the household chores.

On a regular basis, I'm writing frantically on the couch – with a toddler wining in my ear – as I try my best to finish another chapter so I can publish it on Friday. Or I'm adding some finishing touches to a chapter ridiculously early in the morning – while working down some breakfast – only so I can publish it in time before I'm off to work.

So yeah, managing a Patreon page requires sacrifices. But my love for writing is huge, so I am more than willing to make these sacrifices.

For this reason, I'm going to make some changes to the tiers I have now.

From the start of May, I will only have 2 tiers available. The first tier will be a sort of tip-jar tier, costing only $1. This tier will offer no real benefit in terms of stories and such. It's more of a way whereby a patron can show their support to me.

The second tier will be $5 and will have ALL the benefits of the current Gold Tier + some more.

There are some slight changes, however.

Up until now, I'm mostly writing chapters consisting of between 1000 and 1500 words. This new tier will guarantee a minimum amount of 1500 (and sometimes more even) words per published chapter. So you will get more.

I will also substantially lengthen the time for early access for new chapters before they become public. So you will have access to new chapters much sooner than others.

Now, for some practical info. The new tiers will be published right away, so you can transfer right then if you want. You can also wait until the 1st of May before doing that, though.

The current tiers ( bronze, silver and gold) will be deleted on the 12th of May.So you will have plenty of time.

If you're still in Bronze, Silver or Gold tier when it's deleted, you'll still be my patron, but you'll be a "no tier" patron, and won't have the same access as you currently do. So be sure to change before that date!

Do not worry though, I will post a reminder before that time.

I hope you understand why I made this decision. And if you don't or disagree with it and decide to leave, then there are no hard feelings from my side. I'm grateful for every support I get. Rather you view my story, comment on it, become a patron, stay a patron, or leave after some time, or perhaps return after a while. It's all okay. Everyone is free to do what they want to do.
