Chapter 116: Tights
Added 2024-06-01 16:08:08 +0000 UTCAs Xavier walked along the street, he noticed a beautiful girl with long golden hair approaching.
She had gorgeous, waist-length blonde hair and wore a large, soft purple hat. A purse was slung around her waist, and a tight red dress accentuated her slender yet curvaceous figure. A pearl necklace around her neck suggested she was someone of considerable wealth.
As Xavier observed her, the girl seemed unaware of his attention, engrossed in her phone while heading towards Bulma’s house.
"Could that girl be Bulma’s sister, Tights?" Xavier wondered. He recalled that Bulma indeed had an older sister named Tights, eleven years her senior. Tights had left her privileged life to work and experience life, aspiring to become a science fiction writer.
After befriending Jaco, Tights got to travel to various planets in a spaceship for her writing, eventually becoming a popular SF adventure novelist. However, her novels featuring Jaco as the main character didn’t gain much popularity.
Tights was one of the first humans to leave Earth and had close ties with the Galactic Patrol.
"Excuse me, sir, are you calling me?" Hearing someone call her name, Tights turned around, a hint of curiosity in her dark eyes.
Having been noticed, Xavier admitted openly, "Yes, I was calling you. You must know Jaco. I’m now his colleague."
"Ah! Are you an alien too? Jaco left Earth several months ago, and we haven’t heard from him since."
Hearing Xavier’s response, Tights' attitude did a complete 180. She enthusiastically grabbed Xavier's arm and bombarded him with questions.
Xavier found Tights’ enthusiasm overwhelming. He hadn’t expected her to be so friendly.
"I don’t know what Jaco is currently up to. I just have connections with the Galactic Patrol."
Disappointed, Tights let go of his arm. She had hoped to travel to other planets for her research. Since Xavier didn't know Jaco's whereabouts, she would have to keep waiting for news.
"Would you like to come to my house for a bit?" Tights warmly invited.
"Sure!"
Xavier accepted Tights’ invitation and followed her to her luxurious villa. Bulma’s house was a spacious four-story, hemispherical building, surrounded by various flowers and trees, clearly a wealthy residence.
Dr. Briefs was in the garden, smoking and watering the flowers with a bucket. Seeing his elder daughter bringing a young man home, he put down his work and asked, "Tights, who’s this young man? Is he your boyfriend?"
"Of course not! He’s a friend of Jaco’s and just arrived on Earth..." Tights yelled at Dr. Briefs in exasperation. Then she realized she didn’t even know the young man’s name.
"Just call me Xavier. I'm the leader of Red Mountain Planet in the Eastern Galaxy. I've heard that Dr. Brief is the smartest person on Earth, and I happen to have a team of outstanding scientists under my command. Perhaps you all can exchange ideas and knowledge."
"So you're a friend of Jaco's, huh? And you mentioned alien technology?" Dr. Briefs' interest was immediately piqued. "That's great! When Jaco came last time, I didn't get a chance to thoroughly study his spaceship..."
Once he started talking about technology, Dr. Briefs was unstoppable. Xavier found it hard to believe that this scruffy, skinny old man was the brilliant mind behind the Hoi-Poi Capsules.
In a sense, Bulma's father represented the pinnacle of spatial technology research on Earth, while Dr. Gero was the leading figure in temporal studies. Bulma was able to create the time machine by combining the research of Dr. Briefs and Dr. Gero.
...
Xavier stayed at Bulma's house for quite some time, during which he met a young Bulma. She was about six years old, with light purple hair tied into two braids, holding a laser device. With her mother, who seemed to defy the passage of time, guiding her, Bulma walked to the dining table.
"Hey, my sister said you're an alien!" Bulma pointed the laser toy at Xavier, looking somewhat nervous.
"That's right. I'm not only an alien, but I also have a whole bunch of aliens under my command, each one very powerful."
"Will you invade Earth?"
"Haha, that depends on my mood. If I'm not happy, I could wipe out all humans on Earth with a wave of my hand!" Xavier said, half-jokingly.
"Yeah, right. Who would believe that? You must be lying!" Bulma pouted, putting down her laser toy, thinking Xavier was a fraud. After all, how could an alien look just like a human?
Dr. Briefs and his wife laughed heartily. Xavier then began to talk about the Fidaians. Through previous conversations, he knew Dr. Briefs was a laid-back person, so he aimed to facilitate collaboration between them.
"I wonder how Fidaian technology compares to my Hoi-Poi Capsule technology. I'd love to check it out!"
Xavier smiled and said, "That's simple. I'll have a technician contact you shortly. By the way, I heard there's another renowned scientist, Dr. Gero. Perhaps we could invite him over as well."
Xavier had ulterior motives. The most famous scientists on Earth were Dr. Briefs, Dr. Gero, and Dr. Wheelo. One invented the spatial technology of Hoi-Poi Capsules, another developed a time machine that could stop time for 50 seconds, and the last created androids capable of catastrophic destruction.
Xavier wanted to recruit all three, but he knew Dr. Briefs and Dr. Gero were not driven by fame or fortune. As for Dr. Wheelo, who knew where he was hiding at this moment?
Since recruiting them was unlikely, Xavier naturally wanted to maintain a good working relationship with them.
"Haha, I actually have Dr. Gero's phone number. How about I call him over?" Dr. Brief, keen on new technology, immediately picked up the phone and dialed.
On a remote island on the other side of the Earth, Dr. Gero received Dr. Brief's call and promptly set out for West City.
Xavier watched everything unfold with a smile, eager to see what kind of sparks would fly between the Fidaians and Dr. Brief. He then used Instant Transmission to bring over a few Fidaian scientists.
The following days were filled with intense discussions among the scientists. Xavier couldn’t contribute much to the conversations but observed that everyone seemed to be gaining valuable insights. It was unfortunate that Earth was so far from Red Mountain Planet, as closer proximity would have facilitated even better collaboration.
After staying at Bulma's house for a few days and promising Tights a spaceship, Xavier left West City.
Xavier didn’t leave Earth immediately. Instead, like seven years ago, he began a massive food procurement spree. This caused another food shortage in the small towns he visited, and soon Xavier's dimensional space was filled with an endless supply of food.

This is going to change the main storyline. I can expect the androids to be a lot stronger.
