Chapter 107: The Mysterious Place

The Supreme Kai holds the highest position among the gods, able to traverse freely anywhere within his divine jurisdiction. In the universe, only the God of Destruction is his equal. However, the awkward truth is that the Supreme Kai has status but lacks the power to match it.

This incapability means that the Supreme Kai cannot effectively control the universe under his jurisdiction. Often, he must cultivate powerful warriors or rely on the authority of the God of Destruction.

But the personality of Beerus, the God of Destruction... it's something even the Supreme Kai struggles with.

Back to the point, after the encounter with Cooler, Xavier fully realized the importance of Instant Transmission. It was a lifesaving skill in critical moments! So, after achieving a breakthrough in his mental state, he practiced and attempted Instant Transmission multiple times.

Through repeated practice, Xavier made an astonishing discovery. He sensed that the cosmic space was not as simple as it seemed. Behind the smooth and locally twisted folds, there appeared to be layers of membranes that seemed to exist and not exist simultaneously.

These membranes were thin yet unbreakable, numerous yet not cluttered. Extending along these threads formed a vast network binding the entire universe together.

"What is this? A network of cosmic spatial layers?" With a hint of curiosity, Xavier spread his mental and psychic energy along the threads. What he saw astonished him; these membranes permeated the entire universe, spanning countless galaxies and dimensions, finally converging at a single point in an extremely high dimension.

"All space extends from that point. Could it be the origin of the universe?" Curious, Xavier observed for a while. He reached out his hand and made a grabbing motion towards the tiny point, inadvertently triggering Instant Transmission.

Xavier's body disappeared.

In a high-dimensional space.

Countless stars orbited cyclically and rhythmically around a central divine star.

On a vast, lush green plain, the blue sky reflected circular star patterns, marking this as a sacred place untouched since ancient times.

On a green, low hill, Xavier appeared without warning.

"Where am I?"

Looking around, Xavier saw a vast expanse of green grassland, dotted with occasional small hills and a few ancient trees with lush foliage. He took a deep breath, savoring the fragrant air, and felt a sense of timeless, serene tranquility.

As he moved slightly, a look of puzzlement crossed his face. He swung his fists a few times and noticed that every punch encountered a powerful force in the air, restraining his movements.

"What's going on? Why is the spatial constraint so strong?"

To test another theory, he gathered an energy blast in his palm and smashed it into the ground. The impact caused a slight tremor, and the grass was left with a shallow half-meter crater, significantly reducing its power.

"This place is truly bizarre. It seems to have a very strong restrictive force. That attack I just made would have leveled a mountain anywhere else, but here it only made a small crater," Xavier thought to himself. The area was deserted, and although it resembled Namek in some ways, he knew this was not Namek.

A gentle breeze blew by as Xavier slowly floated into the air. He quickly adapted to flying in this space and began to accelerate.

Whoosh—

A bright streak of light flashed across the sky, leaving a faint trail in the air before vanishing over the horizon.

As his speed increased, the gentle breeze turned fierce. Xavier flew for a long time, but everything remained the same—endless grasslands with occasional lakes being the only variation.

"Huh, what's that?" Something sparkling in the distance caught Xavier's attention.

With a glimmer of hope, he sped towards the light.

However, upon reaching the source, Xavier was surprised to find a small hill. The glowing object turned out to be the hilt of a sword embedded in the ground.

"The Z Sword!" he exclaimed in surprise.

As he stared at the hilt, numerous images flashed through his mind. It was indeed the legendary Z Sword mentioned in the original story, which also contained the seal of the old Supreme Kai from 15 generations ago.

"So, this is the Sacred World of the Kai. That explains everything. No wonder the space here is so solid," Xavier thought, realizing the truth. The Sacred World of the Kai was strong enough to withstand battles of Majin Buu's caliber, naturally suppressing his own power significantly.

Xavier's eyes then shifted to the sword on the hill. Enthusiastically, he tried to pull it out, but the hilt didn't budge.

Shaking his head with a sigh, Xavier smiled wryly. "I'm still far from being able to pull out the Z Sword."

"The Sacred World of the Kai forbids mortals from entering. I'd better leave quickly," Xavier thought. The East Supreme Kai was approachable, but Kibito was not fond of mortals trespassing on the sacred land.

Although he didn't consider Kibito, who played a minor role in the original series, a threat, Xavier knew he was not yet a match for him.

After staring at the Z Sword for a while, Xavier's emotions stirred. Then he used Instant Transmission to leave the Sacred World of the Kai.

Not long after Xavier disappeared, Kibito, dressed in a black Supreme Kai robe, suddenly appeared near the Z Sword. He looked around curiously. "Strange, I could have sworn I felt a mortal's presence here, but it's gone now."

"Kibito, you must be mistaken. This is the Sacred World of the Kai. How could there possibly be a mortal here?" The East Supreme Kai's figure appeared behind Kibito, seemingly out of nowhere.

Kibito turned around and respectfully bowed to the East Supreme Kai. "Lord Supreme Kai, what brings you here?"

"Hehe, no need for such formality, Kibito," the silver-haired East Supreme Kai smiled, glancing at the desolate and empty Sacred World of the Kai. He sighed suddenly. "Recently, Babidi has been active again. I'm not sure what schemes he's plotting this time, but it seems even the Demon Realm is involved. We must keep a close watch and ensure Babidi's plans do not succeed!"

"Yes, Lord Supreme Kai!" Kibito replied with utmost respect.

The East Supreme Kai then looked worriedly at the lower realms. If Babidi were to release Majin Buu, it would spell disaster for the universe. The mere thought of Majin Buu's ruthless and violent nature sent shivers down his spine.

Once, there were five Supreme Kais in the Sacred World of the Kai; now, only he remained. Majin Buu was like a nightmare, haunting his thoughts. The East Supreme Kai was truly terrified of Majin Buu.

The East Supreme Kai was still quite young. In the realm of Supreme Kais, he was considered immature and lacked full knowledge of the universe's secrets, including the existence of the God of Destruction, Beerus. Knowing about Beerus might have eased some of his worries.

Saiyan Base, Red Mountain Planet.

It had been a year since Xavier and his companions left for Planet Yardrat.

Recently, the main force of the Fidaian people, after a journey of over two years, finally arrived at the Red Mountain Planet's binary star system. Under the coordination of Fidaian Elo, Dokra led the main force to land on the nearby Planet Mesen.

Upon their arrival, the giant spaceship, equipped with numerous cannons, caused panic among the native humans of Planet Mesen. The civilization on Mesen was roughly equivalent to Earth's during Xavier's previous life, but with a smaller population, making it relatively weak. When they saw the arrival of the Fidaian spaceship, they feared an invasion by an alien civilization.

The entire planet plunged into extreme panic, with various doomsday rumors spreading rapidly. The United Kingdom of Mesen was in an uproar over the arrival of the aliens. While they argued, the Fidaians found an uninhabited, pristine continent in the ocean and began to settle there.

Gradually, the humans' panic subsided. After initial contact between the Fidaians and the Mesenians, the Mesenians realized that the newcomers were not there to invade. This led to tentative interactions. Once it became clear that the Fidaians were not an evil race, exchanges between the two peoples became more frequent.
