Studview Valley (Update 7/30/25)

Here is the muscled sprites release for the Studview Valley mod, which currently features Shane. More bachelors will be introduced over time. While including new sprites and portraits, there is also new dialogue added, some of which revolving around the characters' size and stature.

DISCLAIMER: Not all of Shane's sprites have been covered in this mod and will still use the old Studview Valley sprites. Only common sprites have been done but not the heart events. Also keep in mind that because this increases the size of sprites, a lot of visual issues can arise such as characters clipping into environmental assets and sprites being misplaced on the social menu. This is to be expected.

To make this mod work, you'll need to download four separate mods for your game: Smapi, Content Patcher, Portraiture and Sprites in Detail (You'll also need to have a Nexus Mods account to download these). Assuming you have the steam version, the directory for installing said mods will commonly be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley. You can follow the install instructions for Smapi here for Windows users. Smapi will provide the mod framework for other mods to work. Once you have it installed, it should be as easy and throwing in Content Patcher, Portraiture and Sprites in Detail into your Mods folder in the Stardew Valley directory.

Once you have all of these installed, open the StudViewValley.7z and throw in the StudViewValley 1 and 2 folders into your Mods folder. For StudViewValley_Portraits.7z, open and extract that folder into Portraiture/Portraits. Make sure to run the StardewModdingAPI.exe to load the modded version of the game and make sure to hit the "P" key to switch on the portraits when dialogue appears.

Keep in mind, not everything has been 100% tested to work and some errors may occur. Be sure to check the Smapi Console to see if any red error text appears. This will directly list off where the problem in the mod occurs and it can help me fix it in the future.
