Board Game Character Designs!
Added 2023-01-23 05:44:36 +0000 UTCHere's an overview of some of the starting chararacters for the board game Draudin and I are working on :D We're still workshopping the name, and the mechanics are still going to be under wraps for now, but I can share the art :D
Thematically the game will be about people playing a D&D-esque sort of game, so they'll be customed in a mix of modern style and RPG clothing, sort of like a half-cosplay :D
They've each got a class, and they'll all have better looking art once they get something official. The second image is the character card back for the Warrior - a tank best at mitigating damage and retaliating when he does so!
Any designs stand out to you? What do you think of the style?

Glad you like it man :D I'm pretty excited for watching the style and theme shape up a bit. We've got working mechanics thanks to a lot of Draudin's work, but the theme is mostly mine :V Hoping to do it justice

That melding of fantasy and reality I find really engaging, so I’m excited to hear more about this game! I especially like your design for the character with the pizza hat; little details like that add just a bit of humor which I enjoy.
