Yeah, with Holtz, it was also yesterday from his perspective that Angel was the same Angelus that murdered his family. He hasn't been hunting Angel for the past century seeing him change after getting a soul. In his place, I don't know if I would care that Angel has a soul either. Also not a fan of Cordelia's reaction throughout the first part. I mean Angel lied to her(not even just failed to tell her) so I get that she's pissed, especially given what could have happened, but infantilizing Darla to get back at him was immature and downright stupid given she almost died for it. I mean I had to roll my eyes when Darla punched Angel and Cordy was all like "you'll hurt her". Yes, he'll hurt her fists with his face that she chose to punch. And then there's saying Angel was "being a man" getting her pregnant as though he were the sole party involved, seemingly forgetting Darla had been trying to seduce him to steal his soul for weeks. I mean giving Angel the cold shoulder is one thing, but at this point you expect Cordy to know better than forget Darla is a vicious murderer who would bleed any of them(or children for that matter) dry given the chance. Vampire cult was kinda funny though. Super polite, then super barbaric, then super polite, etc....

Darla's baby is human, or so they think, and has a soul, or so they think. Angel could hear the Baby's heartbeat when he and Darla were fighting, so that clued him in to it being at least not a vampire. But is it really human? Does it really have a soul? Who knows for real at this point. Lots going on with Holtz, the backstory is pretty good, you can understand why he'd be so angry. The ending was certainly very ominous there. Did Darla seem a little more emotional than usual? Can't wait for you to see the rest. Thanks for the reaction.
