The Good Place 4x09 The Answer

It's all about CHIDI! One of my favourite characters. I feel so bad for the poor guy. I am sometimes plagued with indecisiveness, not as bad as Chidi thankfully, and I can't imagine how debilitating it would be to deal with it at his level.

Unexpectedly sad, which is sometimes surprising but always cleansing for the soul 😅🥲

A little update!

I want to thank everyone for their comments left on my last two "advice needed" posts! It has helped SO much and I keep going back to read them over and over. I have a very hard time making decisions (not as bad as Chidi, thankfully) so having you here to help me has been so good 💜

This is incredibly fascinating and bizarre and downright weird but so captivating! So much going on that I have no idea what it means. It's all a little confusing but I'm learning bits and pieces with each episode and it's so much fun to piece it all together.

There is another option. I could do LESS shows and just do mostly movies instead. We could just have ONE show and ONE movie per week. The reason why it really has to be less, is that most movies are around 2 hours which is way longer than a show. It will take me longer to edit. I can get 3 regular length shows out per wee...

Severance 1x01 Good News About Hell

A few weeks ago I asked for recommendations for something to take over when Angel finishes. It's been on my mind to watch Severance for some time now as it's come very highly recommended by a few of you, so here we are!

I know NOTHING about this show, other than it stars our very own Trevor from The Good Place. I have to admit, it's somewhat hard watching his new character, Mark, and not think of Trevor 😅

I find the concept so fascinating and it feels like a bizarre mystery tha...

What to watch?

I'm kind of stuck with deciding between Ted Lasso and Battlestar Galactica... Both these shows come highly recommended. BSG has been recommended for a while whereas Ted Lasso is something I've only really taken note of recently as after I started the Good Place, I was told Ted Lasso is also very wholesome and has a wonderful friendship theme.

I've also read some comments saying BSG is a little dark at times, but I did wonder if it would appeal more to those who have been enjoying Docto...

The Good Place 4x04 Tinker, Tailor, Demon, Spy

I have a new love for fire squids. They sound lovely and charming and I'm with Jason I want to see it 👀

Angel 5x22 Not Fade Away

I don't know where to begin... I was already highly emotional before the episode even began (I do ramble a bit in the intro... sorry...) and afterwards I do still feel a bit lost. What an incredible journey and I'm so sad it's over but so thrilled to have been a part of it and to have all of you here with me.

Doctor Who 9x05 The Girl Who Died

I didn't expect this episode to be so emotional. I thought with the comedic elements (nicknames, Benny Hill) it would be a jaunty romp, but it really caught me by surprise.

The enemies reminded me of a primitive Cyberman, but anything stocky that clumps about heavily on two legs is always going to give me those reminders!

Before anyone says anything - I do recognise Ishilda 😅 I know I've not seen a lot of shows, and I indeed have not seen Game of Thrones but I recognise the act...

It's official - Jason made me choke on laughter. Also, special mention to Chidi who had possibly THE BEST funny moment I've ever seen so far.

Okay - fine. We have a funny episode and then one that makes us sad. It's cool... I get it 🥺

I also really, really don't like Brent. And that makes me feel bad for not liking him? I think back to the Eleanor we saw in brief flashbacks when she was alive and I SUPPOSE they are both bad people but I just feel that Brent has almost zero redeeming qualities and I feel guilty for saying that!!

I really loved the conclusion. It went differently to what I thought (other than one thing I predicted!) and it felt like a very risky adventure, which made it more exciting. Really enjoyed the Doctor in this one!

THIS IS SO GOOD. What an amazing start! I laughed so much I almost choked several times (I'm sure Shawn would be happy if I DID choke) and it was just so, so good.

I know we've had longer episodes to begin the seasons so far, but this one was separated on Netflix and on IMDB and I checked other reactors channels and they've separated them too. Listen to me as I bleat like a sheep. BAAAAAHHHH 🐑🐑

Well, I think this is our very last flashback Angel and Spike episode and it was SO GOOD. I've said it before, but I could easily watch and Angel/Spike backstory adventure and I'm sure a lot of you would love it as well!

OOH ghosts!! And we need to get excited because the Doctor is excited! I do love a good creepy ghost story, and it's made even better with the Doctor to protect us.

Some great lines/moments in this episode. The Doctor taking charge, Clara being so brave, the cue cards... Come on 😅 he certainly needs a little help from his friend from time to time!

And another two part episode? We are being spoiled!

SUCH a great episode. Highlights were Chidi (several great moments for him!) and the overall feeling of "We got this."
