2021-01-26 08:25:33 +0000 UTCThis is an intriguing version of the Season 2 finale. I can't be sure, but I remember there use to be supersized episodes that aired and then went on to the DVD. Maybe this is the reduced-for-normal-air-time or international version. Either way, it still captures the main laughs. Remains a classic.

It has become a slightly more generic sitcom that is loosely modelled on The Office. I think that was both inevitable and required to be able to grow beyond the bones that had been laid out for it. Although there have been plenty of differences already established. This was a crucial point in the show where I was very eager to see it go completely it's own way and see what that might bring.

Probably my favorite line of the series when Michael lays into Toby about "Why are you the way that you are..." So great. LOVE that Jim finally laid it all out there and went all in. Makes me tear up.
