I personally do not think Chiana killed him. I think it was Durka, it's left a bit open-ended, but that's my theory. So basically it sounds like her species homeworld is very very confirmative, you either conform to the "norm" or you are mind-wiped, and considered a deviant. Chiana, just wants freedom, really.

2021-01-03 23:19:18 +0000 UTCFrom what I understand it was intentionally left ambiguous whether it was Durka or Chiana that killed Salis. They wanted her to be potentially dangerous and not entirely trustworthy. I like her, but whether she can lose a little of the crazy and learn to work with the Moya gang remains to be seen. Also as soon as we got that scene with D'Argo explaining how Rygel messed up the proportions of the grenade, I knew it would be a thing later on. Then when I see Durka with 2 guns vs John with a big cheese knife, I knew it was gonna be a "Chekhov's bomb" kind of situation.
