the potential benefits greatly outweigh the risks. You could simply place the mirror in an underground vault rigged with explosives. Sharing tech between the various Earths could increase technological development a hundred fold for all of them. Also the potential exists to have a mutual defense pact where aid can be sent to the realities that are under attack.

Earth would have been sucked into a black hole without Carter, and I'm sure there have been a couple other critical contributions so far. And at the end you say "I thought we might do another at base episode", which is funny since they never left the base(or some version thereof). I actually expected you to be blown away a bit more by this one, what with Kowalski, the AU and the asgard showing up again, along with a surprise(if you don't pay attention to the guest star credits) Apophis cameo, but a good reaction nonetheless. I'm assuming Teal'c little soul patch here was just glued on to match his alternate self. Also I believe Teal'c and Apophis having goatees was done as a reference to Star Trek's mirror universe with it's bearded Spock. Also maybe it's just me, but it always cracks me up how casually Teal'c kills his alternate self. Zero fucks given. It would seem to be a mistake to destroy the mirror though. I mean think of the possibilities of collaborating with the other realities that haven't been overrun. We developed naquadah reactors, but maybe they didn't, and we can share the tech, and maybe they've figured out some other tech. They could coordinate to have different realities focus on different research share it with all the others. Lot of potential.

So I'm sitting here wearing red, oh look we are colour coordinating! 🤣 Then out of the blue, Failee unexpectedly pipes up with "Jaffa Kree" the exact phase on my red t-shirt. 🤯 It's the small things in life.... And during one of my all time favourite episodes.

We already saw an example of this in 1969. Jack was alive in 1969, at the same time his future self was hitchhiking across the US with hippies. 😜

2020-09-29 07:07:03 +0000 UTCYeah, so the whole Entropy thing is not time travel, but the fact that their Quantum duplicates exist in the same universe, apparently for this series that is a big problem, unless you're dead, then it's ok that your duplicate is there. That's why it didn't happen to Daniel in the last Alternate Universe episode, his duplicate was already dead in that reality. And this is not time travel, no time travel involved here.
