X's Romantic Snippet: Masquerade Ball
Added 2024-01-31 20:58:04 +0000 UTCWe are going to pretend that masquerades are a thing in this alternate timeline (they are not, but I'm ignoring worldbuilding for fun because I can lol).
Basically what is says on the tin! Similar to the R snippet from yesterday, the Crown was found by Ferzan and raised in the palace, and while they've seen each other before, their first proper meeting and interaction with X happens during a masquerade ball.
It's a bit of a whirlwind romance trope as well since circumstances are so different here and X probably doesn't have the same qualms about being with the Crown as they do in canon. Assume they're in their early 20s here, or thereabouts.
