Hey all! Sorry for this late one, holiday chaos kinda messed up my schedule this week lol. The voting for the poll came in, and most of you voted for A! There were also several questions sent in that will be answered for this Q&A as well as for R's next month ✨

What kind of animal would you say you most resemble?
"A cat."

What would other people say, do you think?
"A cat."

That simple, huh.
"I have a very obvious type."

What's one skill that you'd like to learn if you had unlimited time and resources?
"I'd like to learn how to paint. I had some lessons as a child, but it has been a long time since I've found an opportunity to practice anything of the sort, especially with how much I've had to travel while we searched for the Crown. Now that we're settled in the Royal Palace, it might be a nice hobby to take up again."

Do you know any languages from places outside of Arsur?
"Of course. I can hold conversations in the most common dialects of Thallosian, in Ivian, in the Qatheshi common tongue, and some basic vocabulary from the Sacati language. Though that last one is admittedly very rusty, and most of it consists of 'go away' or 'leave me be' or 'I do not wish to fight'. You don't have to guess why, considering. "

In terms of promising yourself to someone else, what do you envision the ceremony would look like for you if you would have one at all?

(For context, such ceremonies involve binding two or more people's magic together; they can either be performed in temples by priests or in natural places with high concentrations of spirits/magic, called Sacred Sites).
"I don't care to have any kind of ceremony, personally. I'd be content with establishing our bond with just me and my promised one, in the presence of the spirits. I'm sure my family and friends would be a little disappointed, but I'd like it to be a strictly private affair--it's about our bond, after all, and no one else's. We can always celebrate with our loved ones afterwards, if my promised one would like to." 

What would be your ideal vacation?
"Somewhere secluded with my loved ones, where we can enjoy the environment. My preference would always go to the seaside, but I'd like to explore other places as well. Perhaps the marshes in Penawar; that is the only place in Arsur I haven't traveled extensively, and from what I saw last time, the nature there is beautiful." 

What's your favorite province to visit outside of Avdin?
"Probably Rojan. Aside from Avdin, most of my closest friends are from there, so I always receive a warm welcome whenever I return there. [R] and [X] always know the best places to visit in Marabad, especially."

Do you wish you'd met the Crown before they were the Crown?
"I would. I don't know what I could've done, considering I would've been a child... and maybe it still would've put [them] and [their] family in more danger. But I think they could have used a friend. I certainly wish I had one, back then." 

What's the best part about having found the Crown?
[Non-romance answer:] "Knowing we can finally start fixing things, make up for all the damage and all the suffering that has been done in these past ten years. It will not be easy, it'll be hard work and a long road, but better late than never." 

[(High) Romance answer:] "Being able to start fixing things and helping people in need, first and foremost, but... personally speaking, I've also been... pleasantly surprised. I was cautious when they first appeared, but they aren't like I feared they might be. It makes me feel hopeful. I used the position of Royal Protector for my own selfish ends at first, when there wasn't a Crown to protect, but for this Crown... I will do my utmost to keep them safe." 

What was your favorite subject to study as a child?
"Literature and poetry. Old myths and legends, folk tales, epics--my parents would often catch me with a book in bed, trying to read when I should be sleeping. I would always try to hide them beneath my pillow, but my parents would always catch me. My dear sister, though, was mischievous enough to smuggle me books from her room whenever they got taken away." 

If you were caught stealing from a (modern) store, what would you have taken?
"I don't know. Something useful? I've never thought about stealing from a store before. A sign of my own fortune, I suppose."

But if you had to steal something, what would you most likely choose?
"...An apple?" 

Why an apple???
"You told me to pick something and it was the first thing that came to mind? I don't know. I like apples. Seems like a good enough thing to steal as anything else."
