Weekly Progress Update [19/JUN]

This week's progress report will be very brief since I don't have anything big to talk about at the moment. I handed in the final draft of my thesis this Friday for feedback, so most of my work on that front is finished!! My summer vacation is only 3 weeks away 😭
I managed to write only 2k words (the total is at 27k now), but in the process of fine-tuning the core of the chapter, I added even more variations to write. Granted, these are pretty unavoidable because of all the plot I've been building up to so far, so it'll be worth it in the end.
Multiply this by 2 for when the attack outcome is negative, and that's basically 12 different scenes I have to write during/after the Crown's first court audience. It's similar to the dream sequence variations, so the scene won't be a long one, but even in the event that it's 500 words long that's still an added 6k to my wordcount lol
That's why I should probably add that a July release will likely only be possible for people who have a 2 week early release access reward tier. That is NOT to guarantee that the chapter will be finished in July, however; if anything I'm more comfortable placing it in August because I'd also have to give my beta readers time to edit this monster of a chapter haha.
That was all for this week! I'll keep working on it, and hopefully by the start of July I'll have a definitive release date for you ✨
