Before 2020 ends

Updates of Pale Orc have really halted. Few month ago I've lost most of my work files in an SSD crash. Remaking same art assets for the second time is super boring. I'm on bit of a rough patch in my personal life as well, and it's difficult to find motivation to continue development.

I was aiming to complete The Pale Orc by the end of spring 2021, and could have, but dropped the ball. I need to rest from the project for a little while.

Plans for 0.6

0.5 took twice as long as the previous versions. Been very busy, no free time, all the typical lame, bullshit excuses. I'm currently unemployed and improving my portfolio to secure a better job. It's really draining, hope I can wrap it up soon.

I'll start working on 0.6 immediately to catch up to the lost schedule. Next update we'll meet a new orc girl. I'm thinking of running polls to determine her character first, then run visual design polls.

Little delay, tier rewards update, and plans for 0.5

Hello adventurers!

I'm a little late with the promised update. Currently, 0.4 goes through final stages of coding and should be available tomorrow.

This setback was caused by difficulties during the writing stage. I was supposed to deliver the bathing training scene, but couldn't cohesively connect it to Yallara's character progression. 0.4 doesn't have a bathing scene, but since it was chosen by voting poll, I'll add it in the next update.

We managed to finish the update on time! The deadline was a little tight, but it's satisfying to complete it. Hope you enjoy the story development, but there was a little bigger accent on adult content this time.

Thanks to the supporters! Wish to give back by improving my art, writing, and invest the earnings into bringing more quality to the game. I'd like to add sound design, voice acting and animation, but it's too pricy to cover on my own.

Thoughts after working on 0.2 and a change of update schedule

Frankly speaking, 0.2 tuned out shorter than originally intended. It contains only one level, while I aimed for two. Most of time goes into writing and developing consistent characters. I try to make a genuinely interesting story, giving all the fucking and sucking more weight and meaning. Hope the effort will show, and you'll be satisfie...
