PSA: V13 Coming Soon
Added 2025-04-09 22:33:45 +0000 UTCSince I’ve already seen some questions about V13 popping up, I wanted to leave a quick message for those curious about timelines or new to Foundry updates:
V13 is expected to release as a stable build sometime in April (possibly even next week).
Always back up your data before doing a major update.
Do not update immediately upon release; many of your modules are likely to break, and unless you’re using DnD5e, your system may not work out of the box. Keep an eye on your system’s update channels.
My modules will begin rolling out V13-compatible versions over the next month. I’ll wait a bit after the stable release for key library modules (like libWrapper, Sequencer, etc.) to catch up, while continuing work behind the scenes.
General advice: wait 1–2 months before updating your live game, depending on how many modules you use. In the meantime, feel free to test V13 on a separate local install (assuming your system has a working version).
A dedicated V13 channel will be created, where I’ll post a full list of my modules and their V13 status. I’ll go over each module individually; so please hold off on bug reports for any that haven’t yet been updated. Chances are, I’m already aware of the issue.
Thanks again for all your support!
Major version updates are always a great time to clean up gigantic module lists! This wiki article is always availeble to give you some guidance!

While you will always be able to download older versions, generally once work starts on a new version new features won’t come to older core versions
