What a week.
The hurricane didn't hit as hard here as I feared, but instead created localized zones of chaos. Basically some shoddy buildings would collapse and be damaged along one avenue, one road would be flooded and the one next to it fine, and it wasn't nearly the physical manifestation of Poseidon that the city had screamed about. Unfortunately, I did have power outages over the weekend at seemingly random times of both day and night making work both slow and INCREDIBLY annoying.

The good news is all of that is over, and the video is on schedule for this coming Friday!
I had some people concerned about using the mod for the main game, so I'm gonna assure you now this is not a STALKER Complete Mod kind of situation. Arx Libertatis is an open source/cross platform improvement of the base game that fixes bugs, makes the game compatible with modern systems, and also removing some hardware limitations. If you think of the SystemPack in the Gothic video, this is basically the same thing. I've attached a video showing the improvements that can be seen as early as the character creator. Tom Cruise has a better framerate, less jagged edges, and his texture is slightly sharper. The mod is an easy install, and the only thing to install, so it won't be quite the adventure that tweaking Gothic 1 was especially since the GOG and Steam versions of Arx Fatalis are both the most current ones.
I'll be pretty glued to my PC for the next week working on the video and also chopping through the rest of the emails that have piled up. I'll finish this on time if it kills me.
Thank you for your patience!
