For example, there's a kid version of Gilgamesh, the young adult version of Gilgamesh we know from Stay Night (these two being both Archer class Servants), and now we know of his older, wiser, more serene Caster version that did not come to be until after Enkidu's death. And just to be clear, even if summoned at their younger ages, a Servant still knows how their life came to be. So now we've been acquainted to all three stages of Medusa's life: her younger version from before she was cursed by Athena, her adult version we know from Stay Night and the Gorgon, created after she went crazy and ate her sisters. Also, her Gorgon version is why Medusa called herself a monster in Heaven's Feel and why she said to Sakura she wouldn't allow her to become one as well.
