With Love - from Kids at Heart to Kids who are Champions
Added 2020-12-29 18:07:18 +0000 UTCAs you can tell from watching our channel we are a group of guys that love to have fun and never quite grew up, or at least, never grew tired of playing with miniature plastic soldiers. With that in mind the charity of choice became our local Children's Hospital. It is a gift from us, kids at heart, to kids who are the real champions.
They remind us that life is precious and we should never take play for granted.
Covid-19 has changed the world around us and made getting together to do something as simple as play a game challenging. Now, more than ever, I appreciate every game we get to play.
You, our patrons, have told us loud and clear that we are doing something worthwhile. Having you here is a major driving factor for us to make shows worth your valuable time. There are challenges. Our plans have had to change too many times to count this year. There are challenges in that we are covering a live and breathing game and we don't know what we are going to end up with. The dice giveth and the dice taketh away.
More importantly, we have had success in 2020, a year where many faced challenges that dwarf the inconveniences we faced. So, during planning around Championships this year it was an easy decision to share our blessing with an organization that needs it.
