What Happened to Crusade?

Hello, Everyone. 

Space Marine Steve here to talk to you about Crusade. As our Patrons, we count you all as our most dedicated supporters and I believe you deserve open communication from the production team. Being a Patreon Supporter is like having a Backstage Pass and  that means you get to see when things go well and you also get to see when things go wrong. 

While we had a lot of fun filming the Crusade games, things were not perfect. Between technical glitches, scheduling issues, and managing how the COVID-19 Pandemic was affecting our work... it was a real challenge.

Now, Play On Tabletop is the kind of company that embraces a challenge. In fact... we even seek it out *eyes shift over to Nick and his Sky Board*. However, there comes a time when we need to be realistic, accept the situation, and move on. While British Columbia (a province in Canada) has worked hard to manage the pandemic, case numbers have started to rise and for everyone's safety new restrictions were put in place by our health officials that made filming difficult.

While we are working hard to adapt to the new health guidelines, with such a packed December release schedule and even more great content planned for the new year, we needed to make the hard decision to stop filming and releasing Crusade. Sometimes, when everything is a priority, nothing is a priority... and we needed to prioritize December's stellar release schedule and preparing ourselves for the new year. This was a difficult decision for the whole team but a call that we needed to make for the good of the channel overall. Thank you all for understanding.

Looking to the future, Patreon is going to be going through a few changes in 2021! I am taking over as a manager for Patreon and I'll be the guy you can talk to: I'll be crafting the posts, releasing content, answering messages, the whole deal. There is a lot to love in this coming year and I am so happy that you're along for the ride. Specifics will come for this very soon!
