Announcing a Dedicated Patreon Manager! And more!

Thank You So Much!

Through this journey with you our patrons we have learned a lot about what Play On is good at and what we definitely can improve on.

As a Patron you have always received early access to our content and that will continue in 2021. We are able to continue to make content due in large part to your support !

We are excited to share with you how 2021 will be different, and will be even bigger and better. First off, Space Marine Steve is able to dedicate many more hours to his accountability here with Patreon and that should immediately mean much more engagement for you in 2021. He will share more information with you below. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us through a challenging 2020.

- Tak, Executive Producer.

An Exhilarating Roller Coaster (or maybe Land Speeder).

We have in less than 2-years been blessed with a large audience on YouTube and this community here of supportive fans. You, Patrons, have made a lot of things possible for us and I can't really thank you enough!

Change has been a part of everyone's vocabulary this year and it has been no different for Play On Tabletop. In this last year we have hit the 100,000 subscriber milestone on YouTube, moved to a dedicated studio space, Tak has found a love for after work Pina Coladas, experimented with new shows, and feel we are finding our place in the greater community of this hobby we all love so much.

As a team we have talked at length about how best to reciprocate your support here on Patreon in the coming year (and into the far flung future). We have explored what Patreon is now, and what it should be. We want to sustain our efforts in any promise we make moving forward to you.

The team has placed their trust in me, Space Marine Steve, to manage Patreon with hours of my week dedicated specifically to this accountability. So, that is change number 1.

1. A Dedicated Patreon Manager.
We are going to have a lot of fun together. I will be here to answer questions more frequently, respond to comments, and create some great back-stage content to bring you closer to the action! I am excited to get to know you all! Look for more posts in the coming weeks about the kind of content I will be creating for you exclusively here on Patreon.

2. A Ton More Content For You To Have Early Access To.
As you may already be aware we have 7 major releases here in December of which you will have early access to all of it. After a brief break and when we come back in February you are going to see a much more consistent stream of content with twice as many releases planned than in 2020. How can we do that? Well, that brings me to point there.

3. More Resources, More Shows!
The major reason we are confident about being able to pull this off despite what is happening in the world today is that we are a point where we can afford to pay for people's time. Director of Photography and everyone's favourite T'au commander, Nicholas Froese, was the first member of Play On to receive salary and be able to split hours with his day job. To support Nick we have added another contract editor in Mike who's work you would have seen with Kill Team Challenger Episode 2 (Space Wolves vs Ad Mech). And, I am also am able to get compensated to spend more time fulfilling Play On tasks.

With these dedicated hours we aim to overcome past challenges and produce more than we have ever produced before.

Thank you so much! We really could not do this without you and your continued support. You will help take Play On Tabletop to the next level of content creation for this hobby. Our promise to you is to create exciting entertainment that feels fun so that we inspire positivity and inclusivity. I look forward to this journey together with you.

- Space Marine Steve
