It is a strange time for everyone, that goes without saying. Here at Play On we are trying to figure out the best setup to work during this time.
While we produce our battle reports at a game store where our primary studio is located we have set up other spaces in the hope to create content faster but still at a very high quality.

One thing about moving our studio to outside of the game store is more lighting control.
We really want to continue to challenge ourselves and take our cinematic shots to a new level. For that to happen the right lighting and effect control is so important.
You can see just the sheer amount of lighting we use for our cinematic productions here.
We have quite a few studio lights to try to achieve absolute control. There is a collection of different coloured lights and lamps we use on the table to emulate the effects that immerse you into the world in the 41st millennium. In total we have 5 studio lights, one coloured LED light bar, and 3 flame emulation bulbs.
We pipe in mist. Tycho paints backdrops. We do whatever we can to create worlds.

And, we are getting very excited with the shots we are getting.
What do you think of our cinematic sequences and shots? Do you have any questions? Let us know.
