And so begins the long wait... Really glad they showed off some new characters with this OVA though. I'm kinda hopeful that having them show up here means they have some future plans in mind for them.

2025-03-10 06:25:36 +0000 UTCNot much to say except I'm glad you enjoyed it! You're definitely right, the story isn't really too interesting/involved. But you don't watch GuP for a deep storyline. It's the type of show where you can just turn your brain off, watch, and have a good time. I've re-watched this show many times over the past.. geez, 12 years, and each time it always just makes me smile. I know you've said you won't put this on YT because a lot of us became Patreon members specifically to watch it so you feel that'll be unfair, and I only speak for myself here, but I'd be 100% OK with you putting this out on YT. My reasoning: It'll give the show more exposure, and maybe get more people to watch the show for the first time, and in my opinion that can only be a good thing. Anyways, now we wait for das Finale 05! If trends continue, we'll likely see the theatrical release in Japan late this year, then 5-6 months later we'll get the Blu-Ray release (which is what the subtitle groups use). So a hopeful guess would be March/April of 2026 for a subtitled BluRay rip of das Finale 05.

Girls und Panzer as a whole has been quite an experience so far... for the better! - 1:46: I am certainly aware of the good reputation the leaker for that has... after all in terms of S2s of anime you and I have both watched, Season 2 of Gushing of Magical Girls (one month ahead of the official announcements) as well as very recently a Season 2 of another anime we both have watched last year (official announcement deemed to come at the beginning of April for that right now on a speculative part)... have been leaked by them. - 1:55: By the way... the OVAs have always been a thing which were released first on the BD releases of the movies and not on the theatrical releases. ~~- 2:41: Uhh... the audio seems oddly out of sync here?~~ Fixed. - 10:46: I mean... that video does scream Miho a bit to me at least considering it seems at least a bit inspired by Boko's song to me.
