Funny you mention the lack of video games and such in this series, since they actually mention them a little in the books. In Nisemonogatari, when Araragi goes to Nadeko's house, they mention that she's into retro games. Specially her favorite is Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX lmao. As for when exactly the series takes place, they're a bit cagey with the precise year but I'm pretty sure it's 2007. Based on the day of the week on the given dates, the level of technology (most people have flip phones but smartphones are available), and the fact that the first books in the series came out in late 2006.

2024-10-24 00:18:04 +0000 UTCYes, all post credit scenes for the entirety of every arc are safe to watch from this point forward. Kizu was the only exception. The only 'spoilers' theyll ever give is the name of the next arc at the end of the current one. Theyre also not ever too important either.
