closing reminder.

Reminder that my Patreon will be closing in August so I can free my self to work on a 3d printing shop. I will leave open the possibility that we will reopen at some point in the future if the work load is manageable. If we do reopen it will be wit the same 2.50 plan because that seams to be the most manageable plan in terms of work load. However, I do need time to dedicate my self to starting a shop first.

As you may know last month I got a new 3D printer, this partly done for future plans to sell parts and models. My plan is to open an Etsy shop and sell parts mostly catering to the Bionicle community, how ever I don't want to have two side hustles active at the same time. I have decided to close the SlimeScout Patreon so that I can dedicate my time into 3D printing.

Infected Miru (3d printed Bionicle mask)

Finally, after all these years I finally have an infected miru from the Mata Nui Online cut scene.

So I've been playing with my new printer over the last week and this is my first finished product from it. The post processing looks great, and you can only really tell it's made by an FDM print if you get up close to it. The paint is the exact colors Lego used for the infected hau a gunmetal base with dark orange randomly splotched in to give it a rusty look.

I've heard a lot of talk about how so and so pal is a really powerful pal to get in the early game but no one ever says flamebelle is a strong early game pal. You can get her from an egg and when assigned to the palpen she produces flame organs. Seriously, how is that not op! She'll always keep you toped up on flame arrows.
