Progress Report

Okay, time for a progress report! Before anything else, I'm going to address something I mentioned in the Poll Results. I was down for a day with a severe migraine...and most of another day with the after effects of the same. This isn't a new thing, I know what causes them and have appropriate medication to keep the neurological issue in question under control. They only flare up when I'm being stupid and wearing myself down. The medication effectively acts as a buffer. So long as I'm reasonable, get enough sleep, take care of myself, don't let too much stress overwhelm me, then I don't have any issues. Unfortunately...I have a history of letting things get out of hand and crashing and burning at some point. Which is what happened this time. I've been running myself ragged for months trying to keep up with everything I'm doing. Eventually I paid for it, and will keep paying for it until I fix it. Which, of course, I've already started...trying to do.

What this means for everyone here is that I've had to make myself ease off a little in how hard I'm pushing myself working on various things. It won't do anyone any good if my health tanks and I stop being able to work on anything at all. As a result, the Left Hand Magic build this month might be a bit smaller than I'd hoped. Not too much. I've got three full scenes pretty much done already. And I'll be very surprised if I don't get a minimum of three scenes into Trix's content, even with taking it easier. Probably four. It does mean that the full five scenes she's supposed to have probably won't entirely make it into the build. But, even at slightly reduced scale, it won't be a small build by any means. Just not quite what I'd hoped. On that note, let's get to the actual progress report stuff. 

Left Hand Magic

As mentioned above, I've already finished two scenes, Revina's Weekday scene for Week 4 that was missing, as well as her Weekend 4 scene. Likewise, I'm most of the way done with the Arianna/Talia route Weekend 4 scene. If I hadn't effectively lost a day to the previously mentioned health issues, I'd probably already be done with that one, too. As is, it should be done tomorrow. From there, I'll move onto Trix's Weekday 5 scenes.

Short Story

This, unfortunately, was the biggest casualty of the migraine flare up. It's essentially impossible for me to do any writing when that happens, which means I basically lost the entire weekend and Monday for any writing. I'm hoping to get a bit done tonight...but it might not happen. I'm still suffering some lingering symptoms. The whole reason I try not to let it get to the point of flare ups is the aftermath lingers for a week or more. Even if I can take it easy...which isn't something i can completely do right now. I admit I'm a little stressed about the amount of writing I still have to do on everything for this month and I'm trying not to freak out about it. We'll see what I can manage in the next few days.

Mixed Media Short

This, thankfully, didn't suffer. Mostly because I could get started on some of the easier renders without having to think to hard on them. I've only got four of them done so far, but that's not too far from where I usually want to be. With A Bet Maid usually being shorter than The Virtual Trap, this is one thing I'm not particularly worried about at this point.

Wallpapers

I actually got the post processing done on the SFW one...only to realize I'd rendered the NSFW wallpaper at the wrong resolution. I redid it, but haven't had time or energy to post process it. One step forward one step sideways, I guess?
